Would you believe I had never see a deer until I moved to Texas?
I see them, said the blind woman!! Good photo and good catch of the skulls... (cue the scary music from Jaws or something).
Sounds like you're getting a lot of rain -- have you been part of the south-eastern US drought over the past couple of years? I'm trying to gauge how much sympathy to feel!
We get it right after you. It always seems to turn northeast after it passes you. Woke up to thunder this morning. But in a month or so, we'll be praying for some rain. So I'm not gonna complain. It just needs to stop long enough for me to get my garden plowed and planted. Then it can start over.
I love the deer. One of these days the ones here are gonna pose for me. I just know it!
Tabitha-wow and I bet you see a lot of them now. I enjoy the deer and the babies are so cute.
Helen-I am so glad somebody else can see them too ;-) twilight zone music will work.
Jeanne-yes we have had a lot. No, we weren't in the dought stricken area. So, the sympathy level should be very low...lol (it's all good)
Becky-yes, I think about you when we get it I know you will be catching it the next day or so. But, it looks like it gets a little stronger before it gets to you. Set you up one of the moultrie cameras (they are cheap under 100) throw you some corn and the main attracter a Apple cut up and you will have deer coming around all the time...you will be able to call them like I do when it is apple time :-)
I get what you said about using the wrong words for things. One of my main twisters around is lattice... you know the decorative stuff. Invariably when I'm trying to say lattice it comes out rick-rack. Fortunately (or not)people around here understand what I mean when I say it.
