After a very quick trip (actually one hour to be exact) to Wally World to get the bar & chain oil, engine oil, gas can, stop for gas, mix the gas and oil together. Here is the product of about thirty minutes (full speed throttle out) cutting I was able to get done before it started raining outside. Would not want my Wild Thing to get
Wet (sssh-derfina!!!) Pop, came out and spotted me to make sure I was
doing it right (lol) He also helped out a lot .. ONCE I asked him too...he went and got the tractor so I could get him to haul them across the yard instead of me doing like 4 little red wagon pulls. So, he did dump it for me. I stacked it nice and neat and here it is.
Already for the next fire pit chat. (when ya cuming

Oh, and my other news is the Pool is Ready all nice and clean...so far only 58 degrees...I don't get in it till it is 80 degrees...got a lil ways to go I'd say. But, hell it looks fabulous! Yes, that thumping sound is me, patting myself on my back...I have been a busy girl!!! And to think ya'll think that all I do all day long is stalk -I mean ride on the bus with
Pearl or lay on the beach with
Braja !
All that is left to say is where the hell is

As to where I've been... helping to get a garage sale organized and I was drug kicking and screaming from my computer to do it... with the prospect of earning a little extra money for garden stuff...
But I'm so glad to know you missed me.
And I decided that I might be able to do 100 things post, as long as I can use some of the photos I've been scanning to help me. I didn't realize that other folks like old photos as much as me.

Hey Helen...LOL, girl you know I don't share! I tell you what I am hardly able to move my arms to type. I am a lil bit sore from being alot of bits out of shape. I would love to go back out today, but it rained all night so I have to let it dry out again. Next picture hopefully the wood will be tripple it's size. Right now that is only enough would for 2 or 3 nights! I can never have enough Wood...LOL
We cut wood contstantly when I was growing up in Oregon, but I never ran the chain saw. You are a brave girl!

Hey TW, That is the next step splitting the larger ones. But, they have to dry out some more I have already tried and what normally would take two wacks the ching you know that ring if you have split wood by hand..ching LOL Right now it takes too many wacks.
Hey, Lilly, thank you for being a follower, I appreciate it very much. Yes, the pool is pretty and entirely too cold. But by the end of next month early April it will be getting there. (we have a wedding out here the first part of march so I wanted everything pretty!)
Me? Lay around on the beach all day? Never. Why, there ain't even a beach in sight...

Hey, Dar... yes, I trim up my girls myself, except for once every three or four or five months, then i treat myself and get them done up pro-fesh-u-nul. Which is what I'll do next month to get them prettied up for their photo session. Lisa, over at My New Thing To Do, is going to practice her photo skills with my babies. She does some beautiful photography, and she might even be able to make this old woman look good.
SueSue has a mohawk because I was too tired to do lightnin' strikes on her sides... :-)
