As promise he is a very recent picture of daddy buck knuckles, yes that is what I am calling him from now on. See his rear right foot. It isn't suppose to look that way. Lil boy will now be called lil moose boy. He cracks me up, he is short and stocky...hey wait, that sounds like me! Oh, Well, like mama, like son, LOL.

Looks like he's doing okay. Looking fat and sassy to me. Is hunting season done for the year in Mississippi? He will probably add another point or two next year. What a beautiful rack he's got on him now.

Hey Helen, yes he does seem to be doing okay. As for fatty he doesn't have a problem eating. I am not sure about the hunting, I try not to listen. Thanks for checking them out.
Let's hope some gun happy asshole with no brain doesn't come along and blow him away.
Braja, I know I worry about that all the time. I worry that I am fattening them up for some idiot that thinks that is sooo cool to have the deer head mounted on a wall. (I would like to see a few heads mounted but not animal ones)
I'm not a hunter, but I do appreciate the symmetry of that boy. He is beautiful. I wouldn't have a head hanging on my wall, but I do have a couple of sheds, collected off the ground not off the deer after some do-do brain went hunting.
Hey Helen, I keep hoping I will run across one of their racks after they shed them. I think they keep them till spring. But I do stay nervous esp. when I hear shotguns going off!
