Lit bit of sidenote of the ponderosa...I currently live in what I refer to as the mole hole. It is a loft apartment, inside a large 3 compartment metal building (don't worry I will get a picture) which is located in the back yard of my parents house. Mole hole gets it's name because I keep it dark and cold...the light...my eyes.... I have lots of windows (who needs lights) I keep the windows closed in the summer because of the intense heat..open in the winter. Because in the winter you will find NO heat in this mole hold...I have my own insulation I do not require heat at all. This morning it was 38 degrees in my house and I am in a teeshirt and shorts oh and lets not forget the crocs...flipflops! OOPs now back to the ponderosa...gets it's name because it sits on 16 acres, not that big but not that small either when you have critters to feed, flowers to water...hummm *shaking* thought of dragging all those hoses. The folks like to travel and also are up in their 70"s +...so I provide the care for the ponderosa and them when needed. (also I am a mama's girl). There is a large pond and side pond in the front...so insert the ducks now. I also feed all the southern birds and the ones stopping by on the way to Mexico. The Co-op actually moved ... a half a mile away instead of the regular 8 miles...hummmm guess they figured I would show up more if they helped me out by coming closer...(yep it worked) I am very nature driven.. when Derfina isn't driving me...ROTFLMAO. Gotta stop for now...speaking of Derfina...I got to go... we are due at the mall in a hour...chit, where does the time go...hope you guys enjoy my babies.
These are some of the babies I feed around the ponderosa. I thought I would share a lil bit of nature around here. Some of these deer are third generation babies. I finally caught a spotted baby this year being brought to the feeder...see one of the first post I did for that one. I had a lot of pictures till my laptop crashed (note to self ALWAYS backup your chit!) At times there are deer, racoons, opossums, bunnies and flying squirrels all feeding at the same time. how beautiful is he
