It's a temperture thang

Yes, here I thought Spring had sprung. In fact I had taken the palms out, planted my lil flowers the week before the wedding. Thinking it was all good from that point on. Hummm Sunday here on the coast of Mississippi, we actually broke the old time record high. We hit 84 degrees here. Yehaw turned on the air conditioner. You would think it would be smooth sailing from here on out.... Well... see what happened wuz..... my purple flowers going crazy the yellow marigolds started to re-grow

then the weather man came on ....

told us about the front coming thru...yep that would be it

really coming in ...winds are blowing 25 to 30 mph this is looking to the West

this is what my babies looked like around 6:30 last night

Yes, I gave them my best blanket I had ...LOL

It is absolutely beautiful today but it is suppose to be 30 degrees tonight!

Devoted Saint

Hello, it's time to post one of my obsessions. I am a devoted New Orleans Saints Girl! Thought I would show a little bit of my collection I have. This first picture is my main man Drew Brees, our quarterback, WOW what he has done for our Saints, and for the city of New Orleans. He embraced all that New Orleans is and can be seen all around town. Can't wait for him to take us all the way to the Super bowl...Oh, Yes, We Will be there....oneday :-) I believe, I believe!!! Yes that is his helmet by his feet, I prefer it off, so do the little kids for some reason. What is very funny, he has been hanging out in the hall for almost a year now but when my sister comes over and heads to the restroom she still screams every time..too funny.

Well, I also had a very exciting morning. I actually got to speak to Braja today. It was wonderful to talk to her and hear how great she and Jahnu are doing. All the love and prayers everybody sent has surely worked. What a blessing to be able to reach out and talk to her. Fantastic.. Hope everybody has a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the above jokes.

Storms & Beauty

Yesterday was another extremely exciting day around the ponderosa. We were expecting storms which has for some reason become the norm every two days. People it was extreme yesterday again. This picture is a lil late for our viewing area. The storm was moving at 60 mph. So, by the time I thought to take a picture of the TV it was 10 miles away. However I did catch... the skies turning green and very dark
the dark swirl is a tornado forming...I called the parents and told them to get in the hall

Hell NO, that doesn't apply to me...gotta get the picture...see the hail...see the tail

Oh, Chit...better run toto (rudey dog)...oh, and run dardar run. I didn't run far...lol again I would love to be a tornado chaser. This did not come all the way down thank goodness because I don't think I would be writing today if it did. However it did top 2 of our Oak trees across the pond. So, we have 2 hugh sections to go pick up. (I will use the wild thing and take care of them)

rain so hard it flooded the yard in less than 2 minutes it lasted about 20 minutes

but then it started clearing and my babies were hungry

They were some pretty Gold Finches

This lil guy sat and ate the peanut butter fruit oatmeal for at least 10 minutes

This guy was all yellow except for the top of his head. He looked like a canery

things to make you go hummmmm

Okay here are three pictures taking by my moultrie deer camera. It is set up to take 3 pictures in a row, at high quality, then not again for 5 minutes. It has to be triggered by some type of motion it has a range of around 100 feet so they say and at a 45 degree either side. I do catch some cool pictures of the deer, coyote's, ducks, raccoons, even stalkers I mean strangers and whole bunches of other creatures and people. But, I would like the input of explanations of picture number two. I scatch my head and yesterday's post is right up there too! Remember to blow this one up biggerthings that make you go huh ...wha ....?

Well, once again the forcast is grim. Caught the rain the other night. Looks like it has had enough too. If you blow this picture up even the rain drops have sad faces. Seriously I see skeletors in them there rain drops...scary. No I am not on drugs...but she is...LOL go show some love!~
