The Yucka blooms

I didn't even know they bloomed this is the first year I ever recall them blooming

We've got some of those, here on the farm. The Captain hates them. Don't get too close or they'll bring blood.
Love the blooms though.

My last house had yucca plants. They are hard to kill!! I wanted a bush were that flower was located. When you dig the hole, it just encourages more yucca plants to pop up.

And I don't like plants that make me bleed, unless they're at your house and you're sharing pictures. Then I like them fine.

I'm still picking thistles out of my hands from weeding this weekend, so yuccas are kinda scarey right now, but they're very pretty.

We made it home safely. The drive in 24 hours has my back in knots!! I told hubbster "I have to see Dar!", so he's going to put in for extra time in December!

One?!?!?! I had the same thing happen to me last winter with many of my orchid plants! Go figure.
But that one is stunning!
