They tore up 10 sections of the flight line out here. No, problem right..wrong...I have been picking up rocks and lil bits of concrete now for a week by the bucket fulls...They are great for taking out all the windows in the house and all the cars...when the tractor or lawn mower hit them. Also for killing anything out there alive being hit by the flying chunks. These rednecks couldn't pour the rocks where they were needed miss the places all together and dumped them all over the grass... I hope I NEVER see these dumbasses again. Sloppy Sloppy work!!! You would think with a hole this big they would be able to hit it with the rocks...NOPE not at all!
So, needless to say this is how I will spend the rest of my life...picking up rocks and chunks of concrete and hiding cars behind the buildings trying to protect the windows on mow day. Yes, today was mow day. Every other week is mow day...I will always be moving and picking!
I would have welcomed the dangerous flight line instead of dealing with what these yahoos did!!
xoxo

Hi Dar-
Thought I'd better drop in and say hello, so you don't kick my ass.
Do you live on a golf course or do you just have an insanely large yard (with a lake)?
IB-I would never kick your butt..just maybe strong arm you a lil... no not a golf course, I just did two post about the 16 acres here, ponderosa and ponderosa II...they were done at the end of July..if you want to do a lil back tracking :-) So, happy to see you here!

ur eh my "bragging post" according to Mr Otin.. LOL
I just wanted Braja to see where she would be staying if she ever comes to the States
Oh geez, what a mess! We have had a problem with plows scooping rocks all into our yard. I sit out there for hours in the spring picking rocks out of the grass.
Sorry you had a couple of nimrods doing the work. :(
blueviolet-yes they were, good word for them too. Pop, is old school, save a buck.. I am you get what you pay for school! I will be picking up rocks out here till I die!
That is some yard you got there. Pretty darn awesome.
The rocks all over sucks though - sorry for you about that.
PHST-thank you very kindly, but really it's the parents..I stay in the mole hole in the back yard :-))
I think I need to write a book about dealing with the bubbas... We had to use them out here on the plantation because not a lot of people work on trailer houses and like as not I'm out there either cleaning up after them of fixing something that was supposedly fixed. The other thing is the dip shits don't take too kindly for the most part to doing what a woman asks them to do... they think they know a 'better' way. Duh... A few are okay about listening but you have to weed them out.
I'm not as nice about the names for them as you are...
xoxox
Reddirt Woman- I hear ya, there are a lot of bubbas around here to. You ask it to be one way and they totally do it another way and when you ask why it was done NOT the way YOU wanted it.. they pack their tools and leave..uhmmm my place my choice.. there are a couple I could personally really kick their butts.. too dumb to even dig a ditch some of them! Yes, I was refraining from trying to offend others by what I really want to call them ;-) (give me women workers anyday)
Dar, you are pissed! Nothing worse than a pissed southern woman! hehe! It was my mow day too, I worked all day and then bought gas so that I could mow it, and I started the mower and then a thunderstorm blew in!!! My life! LOL!
Damn rocks! But were the guys at least a little fun to watch?
Otin-picked up on that did ya...LOL nothing worse than a pissed off Redhead Southern Girl! We have had nothing but horrible storms today here too but that is okay we really need the rain. So, do the plants so I can post more pictures for you :-))
Beth-I felt like throwing the rocks at the bubbas..it was neat watching that lil kobata mule doing the work pretty cool machine.
A Bobcat! I love anything Bobcat!
That looks like a big job Darsden. The landscape at your place looks amazing. The grounds are beautiful and someone puts a lot of care and attention into it all.
Medora-yea that what it was I couldn't come up with the name. they are really cool to watch.
Lilly-lovely to see you here :-) Hope you took the ponderosa I and II tours that were done at the end of July I tried to squeeze the whole place in on those post. Great to see you and read you again Lilly
Medora-pretty sad I couldn't come up with the name of the bobcat and it's written on the butt of the bobcat...duh here's my sign
What a mess!!! Kinda like getting wood floors redone. I even got a company that did "dust less" Still had dust to clean up for quite a while. I imagine that it was also noisy. I do not like noise!!
