You have a lemon tree?? I just keep finding more and more reasons to come see you!!

If you take me to the shrimp boats, would I be able to meet Forest? I hear he is a great Shrimp Boat Captain.

Amy-I have lemon, lime, kumquat, plum, persimmon, pear, blueberry and and couple more I can't think of! Yep, you could meet as many of them as you want.

darsden said...

Pastor Sharon-Yes, leaf is cool. She was the size of a quarter when I got her and now shes about the size of an orange.

darsden said...

Otin-LOL that was great yep and I can eat any of them anyway!

darsden said...

Maggie-thank you she is a mess!

blognut said...

Um...Dar? There are moths on those flowers! Moths!

Moths are like spiders, only with wings. They are despicable little creatures and should not be photographed and put in my face before 7am. Just sayin'.

A little "Moth Warning" label next time, 'k?

Brian Miller said...

shrimp gumbo, shrimp cocktail, shrip soup, shrimp scampi, shrimp po boy...LOL OTIN!

cool night sky!

happy Tuesday!

Rudey dog looks as if she's asking, "Save me, Mama!" Poor thing.
Definitely a Halloween sky. Spooky. Love it!

Liz Mays said...

First I thought they were bees but no, they look like moths. I've been seeing a ton of them around here this week too.

That is a perfect Halloween sky.

As always, your pictures are wonderful!

Stacy Uncorked said...

Awesome pictures as usual, Darsden! That is absolutely a perfect Halloween sky... ;)

Lovely flowers, Mizz Darsden!

Mmm...shrimp...cue Homer Simpson gargle here...

One of my cats despises thunder - when it storms, she will growl and quick-step it to her cave - under my bed - until it's over.

Beautiful sky, ma'am...good shot!

Shade and Sweetwater,
K

Brian Miller-thankyou...did you hear me singing on David's author blog last night right after your comment..LOL ;-) Otin is funny!

Twisted Fencepost-yes, she has that look a lot now...and thank you it was a weird sky!

blueviolet-okay I really thought moths only come out at night...so I was thinking they were like butterflies..so I am sticking with that...LOL thank you I appreciate it love taking pictures. HOWever my computer wants some of the thousands off already!

Stacy trcc-thank you very much and it was spooky I was hoping it would turn out ..I was suprised.

Tabitha-YOU are just so sweet I thank you very much..we have seen those skies haven't we honey!

Braja-yes honey that is a 8 foot tree hibicus, shall we call her pastor sharon or sharon rose ..wha cha thinking :-)

I love all your photos - the diversity of them is great and paints a vivid picture of your day. For what it's worth (not much, but since I have an opinion) I like the second flower picture better because I like the way you can see the moths from the side angle. And that sky picture is truly spectacular!

Mango Girl said...

I miss the smell of the docks when the shrimp boats are in...

Nice flowers and FABULOUS night shot!

darsden said...

Margo-good to see you and thank you. Opinions are always welcome here and I have to agree with you after I posted it I saw they did show up better. I do appreciate the input.

Mango girl-yes you remember the smell, almost put that in my post the other day. Thank you

darsden said...

Margo-by the way I really appreciate you signing up on the side bar over there. Com'on back any time, just left your blog..great pictures too!

Liz Wilkey (a.k.a. A Mom on Spin) said...

why does your lemon look like my lime???

rxBambi said...

Rudey is soo cute! My dog is afraid of storms too, she'll hide in the bathtub or under the bed. And yes, I agree with AMOS, why does your lemon look like a lime?

darsden said...

A mom on Spin-because it has not turned yellow yet. I am hoping it does very soon and I shall take another picture. But I might have to google because it was next to my lime tree in the greenhouse...hope they didn't mingle and I didn't know it..

rxBambi-thank you, it's sad they are so scared. Please refer to above statement LOL

Medora said...

Shrimp and lemons - I am really excited now.

Jo ~ said...

hey girl, great pics! You have a regular orchard from what I gathered! I'd love to have some fruit right off the tree! We used to have a pear tree growing up, now that was great! I love pears! Lemon anything is my absolute fav, like lemon meringue pie! yummo! now I'm going to have to search the house over for something lemony!!!! or make a trip to the grocer! dang it! Now see what you went and done? LOL

Sharon Rose said...

What happened? I posted here today! Did my words get spit out of the computer?

Well, glad I came back around! I said,
I love the shrimp boats, I enjoyed the conversation last night, the roasting, etc.

I can't remember what else I said.

Oh, and by the way, give Rudey a hug for me!

darsden said...

Pastor Sharon-honey you been drinking again..YOU are number two up there right under Miss Amy. You did say you love the shrimp boats but you told me in a personal ;) email you enjoyed the roasting and conversation.
NO, I am not holding my spoon...LOL it was a personal email. Rudey has left the building she has gone to bed she no longer hangs out while I play on the computer.

darsden said...

Bella- thank you very much. I love lemons too, use to eat them all the time..really bad for your teeth so I cut back a lot. We do have several differnet fruits around. The pear trees are the cooking pears. Don't personally care for those but others do so we give them away. My favorite is the blue berry bush. I stand there and pic and eat at the same time. Natures candy yum.

darsden said...

Medora-yea girl I saw you smiling..LOL
