You know what would go really good with these pics?

A margarita. :-) With salt on the rim, too. Gots to have the salt.

Pearl-I totally agree, you got to have the salt and not frozen on the rocks.
But my new drink goes pretty well with them too. Pineapple Rum, a lil pineapple juice, 1/2 ginger ale or 7-up or sprite..delicious when it is so hot out but watch out that rum will sneak up on you and I am not a rum drinker...but I am a pineapple rum drinker :-))

Oooo, now that's pretty! I like this margarita you all are suggesting!

Love the pictures, so peaceful but a thumbs down on the salt. If you've never had a good frozen margarita then you're missing out!

That don't look like the Missippi I know y'all!

blueviolet-thank you and com'on over I will fix you one.

Suzy-thank you yes I have enjoyed a frozen one but I tend to drink fast so..the brain freeze is just not worth it and YES, I have to have the salt!

Otin-I don't know what part of Mississippi you are from or where you've been in Mississippi..but honey that is the Gulf of Mexico there and other than Horn Island (still the Gulf of Mexico just a few miles out) ...it is right there on Hwy 90 honey! Com'on over Otin be happy to take right where the pictures were taken :-)

Otin-yes dude that is a whole nother ball game up in them woods.. THEY don't have the beautiful Gulf of Mexico anywhere up there...All they got is soy beans and cotton! Tunica has casino's on a ditch I have been there how they got away with that is beyond me! NOW you know how beautiful Mississippi can really be..but it isn't the same since Katrina!

Great minds think alike, with posting these beautiful pictures today!! Mississippi is much closer and I would love to be out in that little boat with a fishin' pole on a nice day! Bring on the relaxation!!! Now I am jealous!! I want to live where you live!!!

Don't like big storms with names though!! I might have to hang with The Rudey Dog!! Maybe we can work it out together!!

darsden said...

Braja-I will fix yours any way you want it :-)

Amy-yes they do and that includes Braja she did too today :-) But I have to say your post is beautiful I have seen it in my magazine and would love to go there. I have plenty of room com'on down. We can fish in the front yard here or out in the Gulf of Mexico, or go to the camp where we have 2 boats to choose from to fish from .. lil bass tracker or a lil 5' pontoon boat!

NO, I do NOT like any "big" storms this is the worse time of year for us. Could be why I am on the edge... tis the season!

Looks like a vacation to me!

Twisted Fencepost said...

Did you take those?
Beautiful.
I felt myself calm, just by looking at them. If I had some ocean sounds in the background, I'd be in heaven.

darsden said...

Nap Warden-Yes, I forget how many people do vacation here. I am really bad about not taking advantage of the beach as I should. After all it is the playground of the South.

Twisted Fencepost-Let me make you some wave sounds..swooosh, swooosh, slap slap. LOL I did not take the horn island picture and I don't remember who did. I just know it wasn't me because I haven't been to horn island. I would love to go, but I don't have a boat and I am not that good of a swimmer. ;-) Glad the knee high is working for you in the pool amazing isn't it. They sell a bag for 70.00 that catches the lil particles too..but I love my .99 cent knee high trick. YOU will too!
