My Summer Vacation part 2

It was an absolutely beautiful drive up there and back. I took these pictures on the ride home. I am use to traveling by the coastlines and always by water. So, it was nice to ride through the mountains again for a little while. Mind you these were shot doing 70 to 75 in an RV...LOL I did find some beautiful river shots though...ya know I am heading South :-) This first picture is cool cause the clouds were way down covering the mountains up you can't even see them all.

cow babies for Braja

Look the sun is evening shinning brighter heading South :-))

That it folks, seen the babies and now the traveling pictures of my summer vacation to Virginia, hope you all enjoyed them. It was so fast I can't believe it has already come and gone!

Great photos Dar, love when I'm on a road trip and can see mountains; something about them that inspires me in many ways.

Virginia is a nice state, especially up on I81!

Some of these photos remind me of New Hampshire
I love riding to the mountains and seeing the clouds tickling the trees.

Just beautiful

Enjoy! Savor every little detail in small bites.

Peace - Rene

Gaston Studio-thank you I wanted to stop and just take pictures but ya just can't pull and motor home over any where. But, I think ya'll got the jest of the looooong trip :-)

otin-Virginia, where I was I found to be very spread out and not totally developed. Had to go 20 minutes before you saw any kind of life...much more to find a wally world or sumpin. But VERY beautiful, I have spent a summer in Norfolk to along the beach it was very nice and touristy on the strip.

Not The Rockefellers-Rene I have never been any further than Virginia yet, my folks have they enjoyed that motor coach trip too. Thats when they had the big big bus LOL and the mountains up there scared my mom to death because they were also towing a car...appx 44 feet long...she wasn't a happy camper on the passengers side which looked like it was hanging off the mountain...LOL

Nice pictures - I love road trips. Haven't posted my few from a couple of weeks ago (already?). It takes me a while to identify the mountains, as I come from the Rockies originally - but these are lovely too.

I love road trips. There's something so soothing to me knowing I'm leaving (most of) my cares and bills behind and heading out like Kerouac did. I just love to travel. ANYWHERE.

I love 'car window' pictures....I shoot out my window all the time, at whatever speed, even in town....the photos are all awesome! My favorite would have to be the three crosses, very poetic.

Great pics. Thanks for sharing your trip with us. Why is it that vacation days go so much faster than work days?
