Here's Auggie, I found him yesterday lost in the woods.
Another little feral kitty. Hopefully I can find him a home.
I hate seeing hungry abandoned babies.
He is smaller than when I found Janzee.
I caught him today and put him in the bathroom
He has been purring and sleeping all day.
Probably the only rest he has had in days.
I Will be getting him use to people for the next few days.
I can't get him fixed till he weighs 3 pounds.

Santa Is that You

He was so happy just to be fed and found.
I have given him 2 baths...real stinky
He just laid in the water.
Anybody wants him I will drive him to you
within reason people...within reason...LOL

adopted by my niece and her little girls
He will be a happy camper :-)

Update to the Update
He was returned the next day...LOL
I still have him and he is Trouble
He needs to stay off Drew!!

Footprints

People come and go in our lives.
I have found out the hard way most of the time.
When I was younger I could not understand why people
would disappear from my life or family

Life Lessons are sometimes learned the hard way.

Precious dear people I loved without borders
would slowly turn to fading foot prints.

Hardest lesson was how alone I was after my mothers passing.
Those I had called my beloved friends
where were they
the ones I was always there for....

now just memories of what was
fading

I found you cannot be in a relationship by yourself.
You cannot work on a relationship by yourself.
When trying so hard to hold on to those relationships...

I found I was all alone...

So I let them go to fading footprints...

I have found
me

I stand stronger

I stand true

I found I don't need you!

Time Away

Mohamed is back from the mountain.
Finally took a few days off. My sister and I took some furniture up to the family in Birmingham.
We stopped off at my best friends grave in Tuscaloosa. Largest memoral Park I have ever seen.
March made the twenty year mark. Brought flowers from my mothers garden and mine.

We proceeded on to Oak Mountain State Park in Alabama. Loaded to the max for a fun long weekend camping in the cabins with the grand kids. We all had a wonderful time. We all got a lot of exercise too. OMGoodness how "bad" I have aged. I need more mountain walks!!!

I was not prepared for some of the trails. Where did that girl scout I use to know go.
Never mind the fact I had just had a wreck on my scooter in the rain and busted my knee cap.
Wonderful times, we all are planning to head back up and family camp. Can't wait.
Hopefully in better shape and with lots of water on me!
This is my Mississippi Moon at 4:30 a.m.

Great hiking mountain
Excellent Biker mountain including BMX tracks.
Horse stables, golf, fishing and a beach.
Check it out sometime.

Four Times

Happy Mothers Day

Made number four without mine.

Had coffee with her this morning.

She is so missed.

She was my best friend.

The beach was really rough and dirty.
We had bad storms the day before.
Still beautiful though.
These little birds were yelling at me.
I didn't bring any food with me.
They didn't understand why.
They love to be fed human food!

Chilled out for a couple of hours.
Had a couple of cocktails
listen to some good music.

Only saw 4 people out today.

Broken - Again

Well, I had 16.8 wonderful years with my best friend.
She was truly the best dog.
She loved everybody.
Everybody loved her.

My baby actually chose me. My mother and I were out shopping and I asked her just to stop by the local humane society. It had been 4 years since I had a puppy. I stopped in took a look around inside for the small dogs. Nothing ..no problem.

So, I walked outside where the large dogs were outside exercising. Out the corner of my eye I see a little puppy walking the fence line on the 4x4's going like let me through... shoving these big dogs out of her way. She literally climbed the fence and I heard her say...
Can you see me now... all 4 pounds of her.

She had a big attitude for a shorty and I had come realize why she was put with them.

Mom, looked at me and said I think you found your new baby
and she has the same color hair as you.

I adopted her and it was the best 50 bucks investment ever.

ONE of the hardest decision I ever had to make. I laid her to rest on Thursday.
She was having too much trouble trying to walk she looked at me
and I swear she told me it was the pits and it was time to help her more.
So, I made that horrible but necessary decision and let her go be with Mom.

I still think I hear her little toes on the tiles.
I know this will be a hurt for a very long time.

But, I was blessed to have her as long as I did.
The 4 pound "grown" puppy turned into
15 pounds of pure love and loyalty.
