Ponderosa Part II

Well, here is the rest of the pondersosa. Pretty much covers the land around here. But, trust me when I say the pictures really don't do it justice...so ya just have to see it in person. Please call a head though wanna make sure I am around for the guiding tour. Enjoy your walk this evening.
The side along the mole hole that goes to the back yard
across the pond heading to the side behind the gazebo
so peaceful on this side
sunlight through the pines
tons of trees and shade over here..but went 20 feet underwater during hurricane Katrina
second part of the pond
Pop the yard man
the side yard is just beautiful and shady
one of the bridges
another lil bridge
That concludes our Ponderosa Land tour. Thank you for coming by and taking the tour. Please com'on back for when the mole hole tour is available and the car collection. Coming real soon!

couldn't help it. . . feeling spunky. . . . wanted to be 3rd!

If she weren't a paster, I'd probably curse her for beating me by, like, 4 minutes or something.

I hate that.

blognut said...

And then I'd say - Great pictures, Dar!

blognut said...

And then I'd ask who that place really belongs to?

And if you ever get lost without leaving the yard?

blognut said...

And do you carry GPS when you go for a walk around the property?

Or leave a trail of bread crumbs?

blognut said...

Oh - I'm done now.

Bye bye!

Sharon Rose said...

LOL funny you should ask...it is big enough I drove my car all around for these shots..too hot...too many chances of running into a snake by the pond in the woods and I don't do those types of mocs!

darsden said...

Hit 40 you must have been writing when I was writing..lol NO, we didn't get water in the house but you can see the hill the house is on and it was 6 inches from coming inside. You should see the video I took of it..unreal! No I can't share it...it is on my mothers old windows 98 computer with no cd rom..drive WTF.

Suzy-thankyou very much, hope you saw the first post it has the house my folks live in and the mole hole I dwell in.

dizzblnd-I try to be like that unless somebody is being rude to one of my bloggy friends then the mean comes out...ask Suzy and Vodka mom...I was mean to some people over at their sites that were rude to them. But yes it is very calming out here and with the birds adding their music..wonderful.

otin-roflmao...well,...I have more coming, they also have a lil camp I will be spot lighting soon..so maybe not all but a good chunk of it anyway...! Cribs II coming soon.

Stacy Uncorked said...

Absolutely beautiful. So peaceful looking! :)

Hubby and I have a thing for property with 'mature' trees...when we found our house (which was built in 1817) we were happy that the previous owners hadn't clear cut the land and left lots of great trees...when we eventually move, that's still at the top of the list. ;)

darsden said...

Stacy-thank you very much. Yes, the trees are beautiful, we had a lot more, but during hurricane Katrina we had a couple of tornado's come through, we lost over 300 hundred of them. I cried about them, of course compared to the ones that lost their houses and some of them their lives there is no comparison but none the less I felt the loss for them...especially the old oak trees..

Medora said...

Love the pond.

♥ Braja said...
