I knew that it was hot in the south! However, I did not know about the lack of rain. How awful!!! I lost a few junky white pines that belong to the city park out back after our spat or hot dry weather last August.

I checked my favorite radar

No rain coming yet :-( I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Hey Dar, sorry you haven't had rain in your part of the south, we've had quite a bit here, thankfully, and the humidity is very high.

Love certain kinds of blue bell ice cream! Enjoy.

Hope your central air is pumping efficiently. I wimp out in the 90s. We've had a reprieve for now with 70-80s. But remember the north has 30+% winter and a teeny[tiny spring. (And a lot of 'snowbirds' who pack up and head south around late October.)

My parents had a scooper like that but when I moved to LA I got one with the little thing that goes under the icecream and actually scoops it OUT.
