An Angel Gets Her Wings

It was extremely cold in Mississippi "this" morning, so cold ...
I had feet pajamas on instead of my usual pair of shorts!
I was up early as usual having my coffee...

7:43 a.m. phone rings

What a sweet tribute to a sweet lady!
Her face tells of how loved, happy and blessed she was.

Darlene, this is a lovely way to honor your mother. I want to send hugs and love and comfort to you today. Nothing we say or do can fill that loss.

And yet, there is comfort in knowing you have many in blogland here who love you and wish you happiness and peace.

xoxo
Sharon

Hi Gorgeous, wow that was amazing, what a beautiful lady and I see you in her too, particularly in the younger photos. It really is a great tribute to her and to the family who loved her so. I cannot believe it has been a year and it must have been incredibly hard for you and I sincerely hope that things are on track and you are doing well. It takes a long, long time and. Now to catch up on some of your other posts - I have been a way slack blogger for many months. Take Care xx

Love Lilly-how wonderful to see you. I appreciate your kind words. Yes, it has been extremely hard over the last year and very hard to believe it has been a year already. I miss my mom so much. But, so thankful for so many blessings before, during and after! I was blessed to be in her back yard with her for a little over 5 years. I would not trade losing my house for anything!!! It gave me the time with her. So blessed. Thank you for coming by and catching up with my lil blog. It has been neglected too.
I have been watching Oprah in Austrailia all week long...Really makes me want to jump on a plane. (that's a big one me and planes) I would love to see the Great Barrier Reef.
Good to see you and YES, would love to share some Bloody Mary's with you Anytime :-)

Oh dearest, this is one place that only time can help adjust us too. God helps too. He tends to send the right people at the right time. I know this feeling of missing our Moms. I am so sorry you have to experience it. Love and hugs my dear.
